The Ongoing Value of Ten Ten Resources
Writer: Allison Highton

Many of you will have heard of The Golden Triangle…
…this is the interconnection of a school’s three key stakeholders – staff, parents and pupils. Successful relationships between all three stakeholders can lead to a happy and purposeful whole.
Throughout all of our programmes, Ten Ten Resources aims to involve and support not just pupils who are taught by the resources but also staff and parents. We want to share with you some of ways we do this across our two main programmes, Life to the Full and Collective Worship, so you can reflect on the ongoing value of subscribing to Ten Ten.
Pupils
Life to the Full is a spiral curriculum, introducing concepts rooted in the core tenet that we are created by God out of love and for love.Throughout their entire education from EYFS in primary schools to Year 11 in secondary schools, pupils grow in a deeper understanding, awareness and acceptance of their dignity as human beings; of their meaning and purpose in life.
Collective Worship provides pupils with a daily experience of prayer, teaching on the Gospels and knowledge of the Christian faith, including appreciation of the richness of Catholic prayer and liturgy in Catholic schools. Pupils will grow to be not only more religiously literate but will develop a deeper sense of their spiritual selves as they engage more and more with the world around them.
Staff
Life to the Full not only reduces the workload on teachers in a packed curriculum by providing a fully-resourced, media-rich programme in RHE/RSHE, but it also gives staff the confidence in Catholic/Christian-faith schools to navigate the curriculum with age-appropriate, faith-filled resources that meet the statutory guidelines. The ever-expanding training resources for new and continuing members of staff ensure that the support provided is ongoing.
Collective Worship recognises the challenges that faith schools face of leading prayer and liturgy with a staff team that may not share the same faith. Our media-rich, story-based assemblies, daily classroom prayers and training resources ensure that all teachers on the school team can confidently be a leader in their school.
Parents
Life to the Full provides key tools for parents engaging with the RHE/RSHE programme. Engagement, transparency and parental involvement are at the heart of our programme, and schools can use our Parent Consultation Tool and Online Parent Portal to not only inform parents about the programme but also inspire them to take active engagement in the education of their children on this most important subject.
Collective Worship has consistently provides schools with resources to engage and involve parents. Our platform became essential viewing for parents during the school lockdowns and we continue to engage parents with our monthly newsletters, and innovative, media-rich Prayers for Home.
