Choose the World You Want: Fairtrade Fortnight
Primary / Secondary / Catholic / Collective Worship

It can make us feel really angry when we are treated unfairly. But what about when WE are the ones treating other people badly?
‘Do for other people what you want them to do for you.’ (Luke 6: 13)
The Fairtrade Foundation works to protect workers around the world and make sure they are treated fairly – because so often, workers are treated UN-fairly. We, the consumer, often don’t think twice about what we’re buying, where it comes from or who made it. It’s so easy for adults and children alike not to think about the people behind the products.
Using a film produced by Fairtrade Schools, we’ve put together a prayer resource which shares the main aims of Fairtrade, encourages children to consider how their own choices can make an impact, and invites them to pray for wider change.
