Let Love Rule!
w/c 3 September 2018
After the long summer break, we are back to school, which means routine and rules. In this short assembly to start the new school year, we encourage the pupils to become inquisitive learners by considering the value of rules in daily life. We present the example that Jesus made in this week’s Gospel of making love the guiding rule in our lives and we conclude with a prayer to Let Love Rule!
“No one is made unclean by what goes into him. It is what comes out of a person that makes him unclean.” Mark 7: 1-8
Key Point / Learning Objective
Children will know that the Jesus’ greatest rule is to love others.
Children will engage in a ‘prayer in action’ by being loving, kind and generous to the person next to them in the assembly.
