Parent Sessions are aimed at parents and carers of children in Catholic schools in England and Wales.
Created by Ten Ten Resources, sessions are available as part of a subscription to any Life to the Full programme in your account.
Parent Sessions
Sex and Relationships
Talking about growing up, bodies and relationships isn’t always easy — but it’s one of the most important things we do as parents. In this session, Nicola, from Ten Ten Resources, shares how to start those conversations with confidence, offering gentle guidance, practical examples, and a reminder that parents are the first and best teachers when it comes to helping children understand love, dignity and respect.
What the session includes
- How to approach conversations with confidence.
- Practical tips for building openness and trust with your child.
- Ways to introduce topics like puberty, relationships and the meaning of sex gradually and appropriately.
- How Life to the Full and the Parent Portal can help parents stay informed and involved.
- Examples of how these sensitive topics can be explored through a Catholic understanding of love, respect and human dignity.

Discussing Smartphones

This session aims to:
- Explore the impact of smartphones on young people
- Facilitate discussion amongst parents about smartphone usage
- Provide suggested resources to help parents make informed decisions
Parent Sessions
How it works?
There are two ways you can host a parent session – either online or in person in your school. Whichever way you host the session we hope it will be an opportunity to engage with parents and carers and build up your home-school partnership.
Parent sessions last approximately 45 minutes and include opportunities for short times of discussion.
