Guided Meditation

In the next part of this session we are going to explore two of the guided meditations that we have created ourselves here at Ten Ten Resources. These mediations are ways of inviting the children to meet Jesus in prayer, using their imaginations.

The first meditation we are going to explore comes from an assembly called Jesus Remember Me. It was created for use in November as part of an assembly exploring why it is important to remember and pray for those who have died, including those who have died in service of our country.

The second guided meditation was used in an assembly for Lent. In this meditation, children had to imagine they were gardeners who needed to tend, prune and feed their hearts in order to be ready for new life to blossom.

Hopefully you are now getting a real flavour of the different types of meditation used as part of the Ten Ten Collective Worship resources. Our website really is full of resources that can enhance the prayer and worship in your school, allowing your pupils to experience the breadth and depth of the Catholic Tradition.

To find these resources and more simply log in and go to the Collective Worship subscription page. If you expand the three lines on the left of your screen you will find a link that takes you to the content library. Here you can use the filters to quickly and simply find the resources you are looking for. Content is being added to the library all the time but don’t hesitate to get in touch if you are struggling to find what you are looking for.
