Time for a Change
The Transfiguration changed Peter. After Jesus was revealed as God’s son, Peter wanted to participate fully with God’s creative plan. This assembly helps children to relate Peter’s experience of change to their own experiences.

1st January marks the Feast of the Holy Family. In this short assembly to begin the New Year, we learn a little more about Jesus’ family, giving thanks for them, and we ask for their protection on our own families.

On Sunday 26th November, we celebrate the Feast of Christ the King which is also National Youth Sunday. The theme is ‘God’s guiding hand’ and in this assembly we explore how God always guides us through people, the Church, scripture and the voice of our hearts.

The Gospel tells us that we are all part of God’s family. During Anti-Bullying Week, we remember that we are all equal but different members of that family. This assembly provides four animated stories that offer easy ways into discussing a variety of bullying issues.
